Principles of War Continental Army Lists 1820-1869 by T. M. Penn with the assistance of John Hollyoak, Clive McLeod and Richard Clarke. Copyright 1996 T. M. Penn. A supplement to the Principles of War Colonial Rules published 1995. These have been superseded by the more recent “19th Century Principles of War” rules and army lists.

A4 plastic ringbound booklet containing 52 Army Lists divided into two sections. It is suggested that games should be fought between armies within each section as the army lists have been designed to give a balanced game within each period.

  • Early Period 1820-1855. Includes Greek, Turkish/Egyptian, Polish, Royal French, Carlist, American, Mexican, Schleswig-Holstein and Prussian.

  • Mid Period 1854-1869. Includes six Crimean War army lists, Italian army lists from the Garibaldi period, ACW lists and ten European lists covering 1866 conflicts.

There are some very minor scuffs and marks to the cover, but all internal content is virtually as new.
