As many of you know, Paul had a stroke last year. He is now home, although still very weak. I feel that we are now in a position to accept orders via the shopping cart, but there may still be some delays.

Phoenix Model Developments Ltd. Fine Cast Metal Miniature Period Furniture 1/32 scale (54mm). Phoenix Model Developments produced a comprehensive range of miniatures and model accessories for the doll-house builder or miniatures collector. All our models were produced by the original Phoenix factory in Earls Barton, Northampton, UK.

This range of white metal models was produced to accompany their 1/32 range of figures but in many instances could equally well be used as dolls house accessories.

F9 17th Century Bookcase/Bureau. Multi-part white metal model. The finished model would be approximately 55mm tall x 29mm wide x 21mm deep at the base. The top piece is marked PMD Ltd © England F/9.

The picture of the assembled model is taken from a Phoenix catalogue but shows the upper section with glazed doors and books on the shelves. This model does not have the books. I do not believe that in the 17th Century cupboards had glazed doors in the upper section. I think this was a later innovation.

Unpainted and unassembled and supplied with the original header card. Condition of the model is virtually as new.
