15mm white metal figures from Museum Miniatures Carthaginian/Republican Roman Range. Manufactured by Museum Miniatures, Yorkshire, UK.
Republican Rome and Carthage fought three wars known as the Punic Wars from the Poeni or Phoenician derivation of the Carthaginian state. We believe that these figures were designed primarily for the Second Punic War conducted for the most part in Spain and Italy, under the Carthaginian general Hannibal.
CG22 Carthaginian Heavy Cavalry. Four identical one-piece castings. The model depicts an unarmoured horse and shieldless rider wearing a helmet, and what appears to be a body shaped cuirass. He carries a spear approximately 23mm long and a round shield approximately 6mm in diameter. The model is 25mm tall including helmet and crest, and measures 23mm nose to tail.
The figures are unpainted and unused and are supplied in their original packaging, condition as new.
