We believe that the figures in this range are largely derived from the book Armies and Enemies of Imperial Rome by Phil Barker published by Wargames Research Group.
These Early Byzantine (493-578AD) figures are suitable for use in Army List number 4 from the DBM Army Lists Book 3 published by Wargames Research Group, which includes the armies of Belisarius and Narses.
ZC15 Byzantine light cavalry. Four identical riders mounted on identical horses, with cloth covering. The rider wears a helmet with crest, is lightly armoured and has a cloak. He holds a kontos (long spear or lance) with pennant, in his right hand and a small round shield on his left arm.
Supplied with the original packaging. Minifigs used several designs for their packaging over the years and the packaging supplied may not match the picture shown. These are old stock but unused.
