Unpainted 15mm white metal models from the Minifigs Imperial Rome range. Manufactured by Miniature Figurines Ltd., Southampton, UK.
We believe that the figures in this range are largely derived from the book Armies and Enemies of Imperial Rome by Phil Barker published by Wargames Research Group.
ZC3 Auxiliary Cavalry Late 1st/2nd Century. Four identical riders mounted on identical unarmoured old style horses, with some decorative strapping. The rider wears a helmet similar to the legionary helmet with crest and a mail corselet. He carries a lancea or javelin in his right hand and has a long shield truncated at top and bottom on his left arm. He has a long sword (spatha) hanging from a baldric on his left hip.
This is old stock and the riders are mounted on an early style of horse. Condition of the models as new.
