We believe that the figures in this range are largely derived from the book Armies and Enemies of Imperial Rome by Phil Barker published by Wargames Research Group.
Z31 Early Roman Infantry Command. Five figures comprising:
- A single Centurion wearing lateral crested helmet, body armour with pteruges, and a cloak with the left hand resting on the hilt of a sheathed sword and holding a walking stick or vine staff in the right hand.
- Two Signifers holding standard in the right hand. The figure wears a mail shirt, knee-length tunic, animal skin headdress with the remains of the skin hanging down the back as a cloak and a small round shield in the left hand.
- Two musicians blowing cornu. The figure wears a mail shirt, knee-length tunic, animal skin headdress with the remains of the skin hanging down the back as a cloak. One of the cornu is miscast.
Supplied with the original packaging. Condition of the models virtually as new. This is a depleted command pack which we are charging at half the price of an eight figure command pack.
