A set of ten important letters by Lord John Byron relating to the English Civil War in the Border Marches. The major topics of the letters concern activities around the garrisons of Chester and Shrewsbury and the Battle of Montgomery.

There are some minor scuffs and marks to the cover and the staples show signs of corrosion. However, the binding is secure and all internal content is clean and legible. A good clean copy for its age.
