Sixteen figures, four each of four designs. The figures wear a variety of helmets, largely with feather decorations and limited armour fairly similar to the Roman hastati. Two have round shields, and two have rounded oblong shields, and all carry spear (one of which is separately cast). They stand approximately 54mm tall.
Suitable for 54mm skirmish games of the Punic Wars period. These Italian infantry could have fought on either or both sides in the 2nd Punic War.
The colour picture is taken from the box artwork, but as the box has deteriorated with damp, and age, we are supplying the figures without the box. Some of the spears are bent and will need to be replaced with stiff wire or similar, otherwise condition of the models as new.
