Dixons Legends of Nippon Range. Many weird and mysterious characters appear in the legends of Ancient Japan, a country rich in folk tales and myth. These models feature evil semi-intelligent beings like the malicious Oni or the malignant amphibious goblins. They could be useful in role playing or fantasy battle games..

The Bakemono goblin sometimes possessed spiritual and supernatural powers. The smaller bakemono were often uncouth and unintelligent and preferred to fight in large groups. Larger Dai-Bakemono had intelligence akin to the Samurai some even possessing magical powers.

BG9 Fully armoured Dai-Bakemono goblin. This figure wears full Samurai armour and is supplied with a separately cast spear on which is impaled a human head. The right hand is cast open ready to receive this weapon. The left hand holds a short staff apparently topped with a skull like object. He stands 30mm tall. Engraved on the underside of the base is DM (Dixon Miniatures) BG9 ©
