Unpainted white metal 25mm models from the Wars of the Roses range manufactured by Dixon Miniatures, Huddersfield, UK. This was an early range produced by Dixons in the 1980s and we believe is no longer in production.
WR3 English longbowmen firing. Six identical models. The figure wears a sallet style helmet with visor raised, leather jerkin, trousers and shoes. He has a locating hole on his upper right hip which may have been for a bundle of arrows or knife – unfortunately we do not have these. He stands approximately 29mm tall. The base of the figure is inscribed DM WR3 ©.
