Dixons 25mm 25-39 Asiatic Heavy Cavalry on Half-Armoured Horse (x 3)

Unpainted white metal 25mm models manufactured by Dixon Miniatures, Huddersfield, UK. This was an early range produced by Dixons in the 1980s and we believe is no longer in production.

We have failed to identify the rider from our old catalogues, but think it is Asiatic (possibly Mongol).

25-39 Asiatic heavy cavalry mounted on H8 half-armoured horse at gallop. Three identical models.The figure wears a helmet with pointed top, chainmail armour to the neck, chainmail to body and laced armour to upper arms and upper legs. He has a round shield (10mm in diameter) on his left hip and a sword slung on the front of his right hip. His right hand is cast open. He rides a half-armoured horse with armour on the front of its head and lamellar armour on the neck and chest. The horse is approximately 45mm long nose to tail and stands 23mm tall at the shoulder.

We have supplied the figures with Minifigs spears to use as a light lance.

Unpainted, condition of the models as new.
