As many of you know, Paul had a stroke last year. He is now home, although still very weak. I feel that we are now in a position to accept orders via the shopping cart, but there may still be some delays.

Desert War - A unique photographic record of the Desert Rats at War (Gulf War 1991). Published by Penguin Books. Photographs Copyright © Mike Moore 1991. Foreword Copyright © Richard Kay 1991. ISBN 0 14 016513 4

90 page paperback book measuring 29cm x 23cm. The book contains only two pages of text, all other pages are taken up with colour photographs of the troops on active service in the Gulf War. This book is a useful source of pictures of modern uniforms and equipment for military modellers.

On the 17th January 1991 the coalition forces began their war against Iraq to liberate Kuwait. The same day photographer Mike Moore of the Today newspaper was in uniform and had joined up with the 4th Armoured Brigade in the desert - the only photographer at the front line with the famous Desert Rats. The Foreword is by Richard Kay of the Daily Mail who was an official war correspondent with the 4th Armoured Brigade.

There is some slight scuffing to the cover and page edges, but all internal content is clean and unmarked. We believe this book is no longer in print.
