As many of you know, Paul had a stroke earlier this year. He is now home, although still very weak. I feel that we are now in a position to accept orders via the shopping cart, but there may still be some delays.

Brand Keep Wargaming, Wargames Research Group

Two books for wargaming the English Civil War.

De Bellis Civile 1644-45 ECW Scenarios. These scenarios were designed and playtested with earlier editions of the DBR rules and we believe that they still work best with the rules that they were designed for. So we are selling a set of the scenarios with a set of DBR version 1.1 rules published July 1997 by Wargames Research Group.

  • De Bellis Civile: Scenarios for English Civil War battles 1644-1645 by Julian Lander, using the WRG De Bellis Renationis rules (DBR), and published by Keep Wargaming in 1998. 38 page paperback book. Sixteen historical encounters with maps and orders of battle. Amongst the more significant battles included are Cropredy Bridge, Marston Moor, Newark and Naseby. Condition virtually as new.
  • De Bellis Renationis (DBR) version 1.1 rules by Phil Barker and Richard Bodley Scott. Published July 1997 by Wargames Research Group. 34 page paperback book. 27 pages of rules followed by 7 pages of diagrams and examples.

Both books are virtually as new but with some minor corrosion to the staples.
