Chariot Miniatures 15mm Fantasy QAK2 Armoured Duck with Scimitar (x 8)

15mm Fantasy white metal models manufactured by Chariot Miniatures, Luton, Bedfordshire, UK. This range is now produced and distributed by Magister Militum. This pack was produced in Luton.

QAK2 Duck Persons with Scimitar. Eight identical armoured ducks with large oval shields (10mm x 6mm) and wielding scimitar style swords. They stand approximately 16mm tall.

Intelligent ducks appear rarely in fiction or literature - an exception of course must be made for the Disney creation Donald and Dab-Dab in Dr. Dolittle. More importantly in gaming terms duck warriors as both player and non-player characters appear in Runequest and probably also in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Role Playing Game. They could also be used with Hordes of the Things or other fantasy wargaming rules. On the surface mutated duck warriors seem to have little military value except of course that they would have no fear of water and would be an ideal choice of warrior for an amphibious attack.

Unpainted, condition of the models as new. The picture of the painted model is taken from the Magister Militum website.
