Unpainted, but undercoated, 54mm plastic model from the Café Storme Feudal range of plastic figures that were given away by this Belgian company with 500g packs of their coffee in the 1960s.
Gillebert de Berneville c1250-1270 AD poet/composer or troubadour. The bareheaded figure wears a tunic with padded shoulders and slashing, sleeves and fur trim, hose and short boots. He plays a stringed instrument (lute?). He stands approximately 55mm tall.
The base of the figure is marked in French: II 14 Gilebert de Berneville V 28. One edge of the base is marked Café Storme Koffee and the other edge is marked XIIIe.
The model has been undercoated with matt white paint – otherwise virtually as new.
