Unpainted 54mm plastic model from the Café Storme range of plastic figures that were given away by this Belgian company with 500g packs of their coffee in the 1960s.
Comte d’Egmont 1522 – 1548 AD. The figure wears a hat with feather and a sleeveless coat, studded at the back, over breastplate and tassets, pantaloons and long boots. He holds the handle of a sword in his right hand, but unfortunately the blade is missing, he has the scabbard on his left hip. He stands approximately 54mm tall.
The base of the figure is marked in Dutch and French: VIII 3 L. Graaf van Egmont and L. Comte d’Egmont. One edge of the base is marked Café Storme Koffie and the other edge is marked 1522-1568 his birth and death dates.
Condition virtually as new apart from the missing sword, mentioned above.
