Unpainted 54mm hollowcast plastic model from the Café Storme Feudal range of plastic figures that were given away by this Belgian company with 500g packs of their coffee in the 1960s.
12th Century Archer kneeling firing. The figure wears a conical metal helmet and full chainmail covered by an ankle length surcoat. Against his left leg lays a tear drop shield 12mm wide x 21mm long and he has a quiver slung on his back. The model including the bow is 55mm tall. The kneeling figure itself is 36mm tall.
The base of the figure is marked in French and Dutch: Archer No 2, Boogschutter V 7. One edge of the base is marked Café Storme Koffee, the other edge is marked XIIc.
The model is virtually as new.
