A Guide to Fairy Chess by Anthony Dickens - despite its title this is not a simplistic book. It is a chess book of variations for serious chess players. It includes more than two hundred problems and playing situations and includes new pieces, three dimensional chess, cylindrical chess, wagon wheel chess and unorthodox rules and aims.
The book is in a used condition with some scuffing to the cover and edges but the binding is intact and the contents are clean and legible. An interesting addition to any chess library for the serious student of chess. I would especially recommend the challenging ideas on the Grasshopper, the Kamikaze and the Laser pieces.
