The Siege of Ostend or the New Troy 1601-1604 by Edward Belleroche. This book was originally published in 1892 and is reprinted in facsimile from the Proceedings of the Huguenot Society Vol III No. IV and published by Pallas Armata under the auspices of the Pike and Shot Society by Gareth Simon, Tonbridge, Kent. October 1990. ISBN 1 85668 004 5.
The A5 book has a single page of introduction but the narrative starts with page 6 and ends with page 116. I presume the missing pages carried details of the Huguenot Society. There is an A4 map of the Siege between pages 61 and 62.
Ostend was held by a combination of Anglo-Dutch forces and besieged by the Spanish.
This book is new and unused but the cover has suffered some slight scuffing and handling damage and the staples are showing signs of corrosion. There is some minor damage at the bottom of the back cover which has also marked pages 110-116.
