The idea of an elemental is derived from the archaic view that all matter is composed of four elements – earth, air, fire and water. Magicians and alchemists believed that these essences could be concentrated or summoned to produce beings of considerable power which could reshape the universe according to their elemental nature.
Catalogue Number 02250 Earth Elemental. This white metal model represents the power of earth and is the most human of the elemental models – for from earth we came and to earth we must return. This is not only the power of earth, rock and stone but that of metamorphosis, quicksand and decay. It stands approximately 60mm tall.
Catalogue Number 02251 Fire Elemental. This white metal model represents the power of fire. It has a humanlike face but its body is nothing more than writhing flames. It stands approximately 60mm tall.
Catalogue Number 02252 Air Elemental. This model represents the power of air. It has a humanlike face but its body is composed of no more than curling wisps of cloud, mist, fog and smoke. It stands approximately 53mm tall.
Catalogue Number 02253 Water Elemental. This white metal model represents the power of water, more especially that power in wave, deluge and tsunami. It stands approximately 45mm tall x 50mm wide x 20mm deep.
