Catalogue code number 01-752 Pteranadon, a prehistoric flying reptile from the Ral Partha Prehistorics range. Model made from lead free pewter. We believe the model was manufactured by Ral Partha Inc, distributed in the UK by Ral Partha Europe Ltd. Depicted on page 38 of the 2000 Catalogue.
A model from a limited range of prehistoric monsters. I had hoped that they were produced to a constant scale – unfortunately the models that I have been able to check do not appear to be so. However, I believe that it would be suitable for use in 15mm or 25mm fantasy wargames especially those featuring reptilian armies.
This four piece model designed by Jeff Wilhelm also includes an hexagonal metal base 25mm across and a piece of stiff wire, approximately 60mm long, to allow the model to be displayed as flying. The model has wingspan of approximately 160mm.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled still sealed in its original blister pack. Condition of the model as new.
