25mm white metal model manufactured by Ral Partha Europe, Liverpool, UK. Catalogue code 91-800 Goblin King from the Ral Partha Crucible range.
In the Crucible Mythos the orcs and goblins seem to be derived from ancient South American sources e.g. Maya and Aztec. This figure’s flamboyant headdress incorporates feathers and an animal (possibly an alligator) jaw. The rest of the humanoid body has some partial armour and groin protection. He holds a spiked mace in his right hand and the hilt of a long curved sword in his left hand. The figure stands approximately 40mm tall including the headdress. The base tag is marked 2000 Ral Partha. Also supplied is a circular slot base (25mm in diameter).
Still sealed in its original blister pack, condition of the model as new.
