32 page A4 ringbound booklet. This set of rules restricts itself to the Ancient Period from Egypt in the 13th Century BC to the Western Roman Empire in the 4th Century AD. The rules are not intended for use with armies of the Orient or the Dark Ages. They can be used with 25mm or 15mm figures. Throughout 1 model represents 20 real troops. Troops are classified into three types: Mercenaries, Regulars and Irregulars and five morale classes. Normal and average six-sided dice are used
These rules borrow heavily from WRG Ancient rules (4th - 6th Editions) in mechanics and nomenclature. They are summarised well in tables and are quite playable for those used to the WRG systems.
