1/72 American History Series: Mexican Artillery at the Alamo. Catalogue number 520. Imex Model Company Inc. Brooksville, Florida, USA. European Distributor: Pocketbond Ltd. Made in China.
The box includes 35 plastic figures in assorted poses and 4 cannon.
These figures were designed to recreate the Defence of the Alamo as a diorama or as a wargame. But they could also be used in the wider campaigns of the Texas War of Independence in the early part of the nineteenth century. The Mexican uniforms of the period resemble those of the European Napoleonic wars so closely that this range could be substituted for them, or used for the South American wars of Independence where there were many similarly equipped units.
The box still shrinkwrapped, condition as new.
