48 page paperback A5 booklet with many line drawings and illustrations. The majority of the bayonets illustrated are American variants but the early illustrations include French, British (Brown Bess and India pattern) and German from the American Revolution.
The covers are a little scuffed and faded but the internal contents are clean and unmarked, although the paper used appears to be of poor quality and is grey in appearance. I don’t think that it has aged to this colour, I think more likely that the paper was selected to give an antique appearance to the book and illustrations, as it is remarkably uniform throughout.
